Why Holistic Nutrition?

In holistic nutrition, we recognize that health isn’t only about what you eat. Your lifestyle, environment, and mental health play a pivotal role in your health. Going the holistic route can help you achieve sustainable, long-lasting health results.

We understand bio individuality: the concept that every body has different needs, and that there is not one diet that fits all bodies and lifestyles.

Holistic nutrition helps you build resilience in your body. That way, you’ll be better equipped to face life challenges with minimal to no change in your overall health. It’s about long-lasting, sustainable results.

My Story, my purpose

In my early twenties, my lifestyle involved chronic undereating and excessive exercise, and I was convinced it was a healthy choice. My body fat was at 13%, which led me to experience low libido, bloating, constipation, and fatigue, which you might relate to.

I also had two episodes of painful swelling in my fingers and toes, signs of early autoimmunity. In 2020, with a better understanding of nutrition, I recognized these as early arthritis, likely worsened by excess gluten consumption during the pandemic.

Realizing my lifestyle didn't align with my health goals, I made changes. I incorporated more healthy fats and animal protein, sought guidance from a Traditional Chinese Medicine practitioner, and later got certified as a Nutritional Therapy Practitioner.

Through dietary adjustments, lifestyle changes, and therapeutic nutrients, I achieved a level of health I once thought impossible, enjoying restful sleep, a comfortable digestive system, and a closer connection with my body's needs.

As a Nutritional Therapy Practitioner (NTP), my purpose is to help you bring your body back to balance so you can enjoy food without symptoms of bloating or discomfort, regain your energy and libido, and live life without having your [lack of] health get in the way. There are no quick fixes here; the work we will do together is meant to be a journey

Autoimmune disease is on the rise at an alarming. Women are the most affected by it.

The Autoimmune Protocol (AIP) diet and lifestyle protocol helps manage and reverse autoimmune disease.

My mission is to help women of color struggling with autoimmunity, particularly those conditions affecting energy levels (Hashimoto’s Thyroiditis, Lupus) and the gut (Crohn’s, ulcerative colitis) to regain their health using a food-as-medicine approach.
